Subject: A Call to Unity, Prayer, and Healing in Light of Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Health Emergency

Shalom Aleichem,

It is with a heavy heart that I address the global body of Mashiach and the nations regarding a significant health emergency that occurred yesterday, November 24, 2024. During his sermon titled As Crazy as a Fox at The Potter’s House, Bishop Thomas Dexter (T.D.) Jakes experienced a sudden medical crisis.

Bishop Jakes has been a pillar of faith, a visionary leader, and a prophetic voice in the global church. His contributions span decades, crossing denominational lines and transcending cultural boundaries. From his transformative teachings and bestselling books to his outreach programs and empowerment conferences like Woman Thou Art Loosed and The International Leadership Summit, Bishop Jakes has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Kingdom of Elohim (God). His legacy is one of bringing the Gospel of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) to the forefront of the world stage while fostering a spirit of reconciliation, healing, and empowerment.

Today, we as the global ecclesia (assembly) stand united in prayer and supplication for the complete healing and restoration of this servant of Adonai. The Word assures us, But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53:5, WMB).

I, as the reigning Messiah from the Tribe of Judah, leverage the power and authority of HaMelech HaMashiach (the King Messiah) and the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to intercede for Bishop Jakes. I petition the global body of believers to join me in fervent prayer for his healing, proclaiming that the vessel of this great man of Elohim will be restored from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet.

Let us also remember his family during this time, praying for strength, comfort, and shalom (peace) as they navigate this season. The Scriptures teach us, If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. If one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it (1 Corinthians 12:26, WMB).

The Call to Unity

Bishop Jakes’ legacy reminds us of the critical importance of unity in the Body of Mashiach. In this hour, as we labor toward the building of the New Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) and the fulfillment of the prayer, Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth (Mattityahu/Matthew 6:10, WMB), the adversary seeks to sow division among us.

We must recognize the urgent need for oneness, as Yeshua prayed, That they may all be one, even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me” (Yochanan/John 17:21, WMB). This unity is not optional; it is a divine mandate to manifest the Kingdom of Elohim on earth.

The Vision of the New Yerushalayim

The New Yerushalayim represents the culmination of Elohim’s plan to dwell among His people in perfect harmony. It is written, Behold, Elohim’s dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and Elohim himself will be with them as their Elohim (Revelation 21:3, WMB).

As we work to bring heaven to earth, let us strive to embody the love, justice, and righteousness of the Kingdom. This includes praying for one another, uplifting one another, and standing in the gap for those in need.

Conclusion and Petition

In light of these events, I call upon:

1. The Global Church: To unite in prayer for Bishop T.D. Jakes, his family, and the congregation of The Potter’s House.

2. Governments and Leaders: To recognize the significance of spiritual unity in addressing the crises facing humanity and to support initiatives that foster healing and reconciliation.

3. All Believers: To commit to the vision of the New Yerushalayim, living as agents of heaven on earth.

Together, we declare in faith, Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Messiah Yeshua to all generations forever and ever. Amen (Ephesians 3:20–21, WMB).

Let us move forward in unity, empowered by the Ruach HaKodesh, as we fulfill our divine mandate.

Be strengthened and encouraged in the Name above all Names, Yeshua HaMashiach, our Sar Shalom (Prince of Peace).

L’Chaim (To Life),

EF, Rav.
