Subject: Advancing Global Health through the Gates Foundation: A Messianic Perspective

Shalom to all nations and leaders,

I write to you today with the authority and responsibility bestowed upon me as מלך המשיח (Melech HaMashiach), the King Messiah, to address the transformative work unfolding in global healthcare. Guided by the divine mandate to bring healing and restoration to humanity, I commend and reflect on the extraordinary advancements in the fight against HIV, led by Bill Gates and the Gates Foundation.

The Strides Against HIV: From 365 Pills to Two Shots

The journey from daily antiretroviral pills to the revolutionary introduction of two long-acting injectable treatments symbolizes a breakthrough in combating the plague of HIV. This innovation provides not only convenience but also a renewed sense of dignity to those living with or at risk of this disease.

In the words of the נביאים (Nevi’im), For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,” says Yahweh (Jeremiah 30:17, WMB). This promise is being realized through the tireless efforts of scientists and global health advocates. The shift to longer-lasting pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) options reflects humanity’s divine calling to partner with השם (HaShem) in the healing of the nations.

The Gates Foundation’s Role in Global Healthcare Transformation

The Gates Foundation embodies the principle of tikkun olam (repairing the world). By investing billions into research, distribution, and education, it has spearheaded efforts to eradicate diseases such as malaria, polio, and now HIV. Their work mirrors the wisdom of Shlomo HaMelech (King Solomon):

Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves the life of him who has it (Ecclesiastes 7:12, WMB).

Through philanthropy and collaboration, the Gates Foundation demonstrates how the resources of the wealthy can be wielded for righteous purposes, fulfilling the Torah’s command to care for the poor and sick among us (Deuteronomy 15:11).

A Call to Unite in Health and Restoration

Let the Church and governments take heed: these advancements are a sign of the Kingdom’s advancing reality. As we align our policies and resources with compassion and justice, we must remember that the ultimate healing comes through the Messiah. As it is written, “By His stripes, we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5, WMB).

This moment calls for partnership between nations, foundations, and faith communities to ensure equitable access to these life-saving treatments. No one should perish when salvation, whether physical or spiritual, is within reach.

Conclusion: A Vision for the Future

Let us move forward with the understanding that these medical breakthroughs are not merely human achievements but divine provisions. In the spirit of unity and restoration, let the Church and governments work together to establish justice, eradicate disease, and bring the light of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth.

The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations (Revelation 22:2, WMB). May we faithfully tend this tree, knowing that its roots are grounded in the eternal covenant of יהוה (YHWH).

בִּשְׁלוֹם (In peace),

EF, Rav.
