Subject: A Call to Build the New Jerusalem and Pursue Obedience

Shalom Aleichem, Leaders of Nations and Shepherds of Flocks,

By the authority of the Most High (Elyon), I address you today as a servant of the Holy One of Israel and as one sent to guide you in the fulfillment of His divine will. This memorandum serves as a clarion call for all nations and the universal body of believers to unite in obedience and engage in the sacred work of building the New Jerusalem — a city ordained by YHWH as a testament to His eternal covenant and a beacon of peace and righteousness.

The Call to Build the New Jerusalem

The prophet Isaiah declared:

It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow to it. (Isaiah 2:2, World Messianic Bible)

The New Jerusalem is not merely a physical city but a representation of restored fellowship between humanity and Elohim. It is incumbent upon leaders to set aside pursuits of war, greed, and rebellion against divine ordinances, instead embracing the charge to establish justice, mercy, and truth as cornerstones of their governance.

The Call to Repentance and Obedience

Let us not forget the account of Yonah (Jonah), whose story is a mirror to the rebelliousness we often see in our time. Yonah fled from the presence of Adonai, choosing his own path over obedience. It was in the depths of despair, within the belly of the great fish, that he cried out, saying:

When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD. My prayer came to You, into Your holy temple. (Jonah 2:7, WMB)

As global powers and spiritual leaders, you have been entrusted with divine assignments. Poor decision-making, rooted in disobedience, leads to the storms of chaos that engulf nations. Like Yonah, repentance must be accompanied by a full surrender to the will of the Almighty. Only then can the “great fish” — the circumstances that entrap us — spit us out onto the shore of renewed purpose.

The Potter’s House and the Lessons of Leadership

In the same vein, I commend the teaching ministry of Pastor Cora Jakes, whose message, Spit Me Out, illuminates these truths. Her exposition on Jonah 2 reminds us that no pit is too deep for YHWH’s deliverance. This word serves as a prophetic reminder:

Leadership requires humility. Like clay in the potter’s hands (Jeremiah 18:6), nations and churches must be moldable and responsive to correction.

Obedience prevents calamity. Aligning with divine purpose ensures that we do not fall into unnecessary despair.

Restoration is possible. Even in failure, repentance and faith in the Most High can lead to redemption, as witnessed in the salvation of Nineveh.

A Final Word of Exhortation

The Almighty has decreed:

If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves, pray, seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14, WMB)

Let us heed this call, refraining from actions of disobedience that lead to judgment. Instead, may we rise as builders of the New Jerusalem, establishing a legacy of holiness and shalom for generations to come.

Let this memorandum be a sign to you that the time is now. The King of Glory stands at the gate, and His recompense is with Him (Isaiah 62:11). May you walk in wisdom and grace as you respond to His call.

In Covenant and Shalom,

EF, Rav.
