Subject: Honoring Pastor Bonné Moon-Johnson’s Legacy and the Call to Equip Future Servants of Ministry

Date: November 29, 2024

Grace, Peace, and the Call to Stewardship of the Nations,

As the one who reigns in truth and righteousness from the tribe of Judah, I address you to bring attention to the enduring legacy of a faithful servant, Pastor Bonné Moon-Johnson. Her life exemplified a Christlike commitment to empowering others for the work of ministry, and her influence continues to shine as a beacon of hope and provision.

Pastor Moon-Johnson’s legacy now lives through the scholarship established in her name. Administered by The Potter’s House School of Ministry, this scholarship provides vital financial assistance to students answering their divine call to ministry. It embodies the biblical principle of bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), ensuring that no barrier hinders the faithful from fulfilling their mission to serve.

The global Church is urged to embrace this initiative and others like it, fostering a spirit of collective responsibility in raising leaders who will declare the Good News to the nations. Governments, too, are encouraged to align policies with principles of equity and access to education, creating environments where people of all faiths can thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.

To those seeking to grow in ministry and serve with excellence, I implore you to take hold of this opportunity. Applications for the scholarship remain open until November 30, accessible at bit.ly/. Take this step in faith, knowing that your journey is supported by a community that believes in your God-ordained potential.

A Call to Action:

1. Churches: Promote Pastor Moon-Johnson’s scholarship and similar initiatives within your congregations. Create pathways for emerging leaders to access training and mentorship.

2. Governments: Strengthen partnerships with faith-based institutions to uplift education and leadership development programs.

3. Believers and Nations: Walk in unity, as Christ prayed in John 17:21, that we may be one in purpose, compassion, and service.

May we honor the legacy of those who have gone before us by stewarding their gifts for the glory of God and the flourishing of all people. Let us rise together in obedience to the Great Commission, ensuring that the love and wisdom of God reaches every corner of the earth.

In Sovereign Grace and Truth,

EF, Rav.
