Subject: On the Meeting of a Peaceful Transition of Power: President Joseph R. Biden to President-Elect Donald J. Trump

Shalom Aleichem שלום עליכם,

As the one called to lead from Bowie, Maryland, and to herald the Word of Elohim to all nations, I write to inform and exhort the global community on the matters discussed today regarding the peaceful transition of power between President Joseph R. Biden and President-Elect Donald J. Trump. This transition, grounded in the principles of justice, truth, and peace, exemplifies values shared both by the secular government and the Church that represents the body of Mashiach.

The Purpose of the Meeting

This morning’s meeting between President Biden and President-Elect Trump took place with the mutual intention of demonstrating respect for the democratic process and a commitment to a peaceful transfer of authority. This covenant of peace echoes the scriptural command:

For the government will be on his shoulders, and his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6, WMB).

The transition process exemplifies this princely peace, upholding unity even amid political diversity.

Discussion Overview

In the spirit of humility, both leaders discussed the processes, policies, and practical frameworks necessary to ensure an orderly transfer of power. They acknowledged areas of agreement and difference, recognizing that the pursuit of unity is greater than individual agendas. The key points of their discussions include:

1. Maintaining National Security

The continuity of governance was prioritized to prevent disruptions that might weaken the security and prosperity of the United States. Both leaders affirmed the importance of stable leadership for the sake of the people, acknowledging the principle from Proverbs 21:1:

The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.

2. Support for the Church and Houses of Worship

The leaders agreed to uphold protections for religious freedom and support for faith communities, recognizing the unique role of the Church in promoting peace and community well-being. They invoked the promise of Jeremiah 29:7:

Seek the welfare of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its welfare you will have your welfare.”

3. Renewing Relationships with Global Partners

Recognizing the significance of the United States’ position globally, the leaders discussed the necessity of renewing and strengthening relationships with allied nations, rooted in shared values of liberty and mutual respect.

Biblical Support for Peaceful Governance

The principles of peaceful governance and righteous leadership are found throughout the scriptures. As leaders transition in the United States, their duty to uphold justice resonates with the biblical mandate for rulers:

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9, WMB).

This transition demonstrates the ongoing work of tikkun olam (repairing the world), a call to all leaders worldwide to lead with integrity and humility.

Global Implications and Benefits

For governments worldwide, this model of peaceful power transfer sets a standard that elevates the wellbeing of humanity above partisan interests. And for the Church, this transition reflects a harmony in alignment with Elohim’s kingdom, an example of leadership that serves as a light to the nations.

In closing, let us pray for wisdom for all leaders, for it is written:

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people” (Proverbs 14:34, WMB).

May Adonai bless this time of transition with shalom, and may the nations take heed, aligning their leadership with the wisdom of the Most High.

Signed,
