As we stand together in this pivotal year, Anno Domini 2024, let us reflect on the profound significance of this appointed time. The light of Yeshua HaMashiach (ישוע המשיח), the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, has risen to dispel the darkness, and we are called to be His instruments of righteousness. Each of you, the 100 appointees, holds a vital position within the Messianic governance to advance His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.
A Call to Prayer Against Spiritual Warfare
The Word reminds us that “our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12, WMB). Therefore, it is imperative that we engage in consistent, fervent, and united prayer to withstand these attacks.
1. Spiritual Vigilance
• As appointed leaders, you are targets of spiritual warfare. Clothe yourselves daily with the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:13–17):
• Truth as a belt.
• Righteousness as a breastplate.
• Peace as shoes for readiness.
• Faith as a shield to extinguish the fiery arrows of the evil one.
• Salvation as a helmet.
• The Word of God as a sword of the Spirit.
2. Engagement in Prayer
• “Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17, WMB) Pray for protection over your mind, heart, and assignments.
• Invoke the Name of Adonai Tsevaot (אֲדֹנָי צְבָאוֹת) — the LORD of Hosts — to war on behalf of His people.
The Triumph of Light and Righteousness
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5, WMB)
Let this truth be your cornerstone: the darkness shall not prevail against the Kingdom of Light. You are appointed to shine as lights in a world desperate for the radiance of righteousness. As the Word declares:
“You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14, WMB)
Each appointment has been divinely ordained. Your role, no matter how small it may appear, is critical to the advancement of the Kingdom. Like the shofar (שופר) sounding in battle, your prayers, decisions, and actions resound in the heavenly realms, contributing to the ultimate victory of good over evil.
Strengthening Yourself Against Spiritual Attacks
1. Abide in the Word
• Meditate on Tehillim (Psalms) 91: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1, WMB)
2. Practice Holiness
• Keep yourselves sanctified: “Be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16, WMB)
3. Unity in the Spirit
• Seek unity in prayer and purpose, as it is written: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1, WMB)
Conclusion and Benediction
Let the words of Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 60:1 guide us:
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the LORD’s glory has risen on you.” (Isaiah 60:1, WMB)
May the Name of YHWH (יהוה) be glorified through each of you. As we face this year, let us stand firm, knowing that the Kingdom of Heaven is advancing forcefully, and we are its chosen stewards.
