Yeshua HaMashiach embodies divine authority and purpose, heralding His role in the unfolding of God’s eternal plan. As the Ancient of Days, Healer of the Ages, and Bright and Morning Star, Yeshua stands central to the manifestation of the Kingdom of God and the realization of New Jerusalem. Recent global events — volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, and hailstorms — serve as symbols of His mastery over all creation and foretell the imminent return of the Messiah. This exploration will consider these phenomena within the context of Yeshua’s titles and the prophetic significance of Messianic Judaism.

Yeshua as the Ancient of Days

In the Hebrew Scriptures, the title Ancient of Days (עַתִּיק יוֹמִין, Atik Yomin) reflects God’s eternal nature and sovereignty over time (Daniel 7:9–22). Yeshua declares in Revelation, “I am the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last” (Revelation 22:13, World Messianic Bible), affirming His eternal existence. Recent natural disasters, including volcanic eruptions in places like La Palma and Hawaii, underscore His dominion over the elements. These events evoke the imagery of God’s power in the biblical narratives, reinforcing the anticipation of His return to bring justice and restoration.

As the Ancient of Days, Yeshua’s authority is pivotal during tumultuous times. The significant uptick in tornado activity throughout 2024 (5784 in the Hebrew calendar) is a poignant reminder of His role as Judge. Tornadoes across the United States have ravaged communities, prompting reflection on the restoration that will come with the establishment of His Messianic Kingdom, a period prophesied in Jewish eschatology where righteousness prevails (Isaiah 9:6).

Yeshua as the Healer of the Ages

The title “Healer of the Ages” emphasizes Yeshua’s ministry of healing and restoration. Throughout the Gospels, He is depicted as the one who heals the sick, raises the dead, and liberates the oppressed (Luke 4:18). This healing extends beyond the physical, reaching into the emotional and spiritual realms. The destructive storms of 2024, including hurricanes and hailstorms in places like Florida and Texas, symbolize a call for divine intervention and healing in a broken world.

As foretold in Revelation 21:4, where it promises that “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more,” Yeshua’s healing power prepares humanity for ultimate restoration. The tragedies we witness serve to remind us of His promise to eradicate the brokenness caused by sin, offering hope amidst chaos.

The Bright and Morning Star

Revelation 22:16 refers to Yeshua as the Bright and Morning Star, embodying hope and illumination. This title signifies the arrival of a new age, mirroring the dawn that follows a night of turmoil. With the backdrop of significant seismic activity, including earthquakes in regions like Turkey and California, His light serves as a beacon, heralding a transformative period.

Yeshua’s role as the Bright and Morning Star aligns with the Messianic hope that extends beyond Israel to encompass all nations, fulfilling the promise made to Abraham that “all peoples on earth will be blessed through you” (Genesis 12:3). The upheaval in nature calls for nations to turn toward the light He provides, dispelling the darkness of sin and despair.

The Importance of Messianic Judaism

Messianic Judaism bridges traditional Jewish faith and the recognition of Yeshua as the Messiah. This movement is crucial for understanding the prophetic fulfillment of God’s covenant with Israel. Yeshua’s life, death, and resurrection fulfill the Messianic prophecies found in the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible). In 2024, the 400-year commemoration of the Israelites’ escape from Egyptian slavery reminds us of the freedom Yeshua brings, a restoration mirrored in the current global struggle for liberation from physical and spiritual bondage.

As prophesied in Isaiah 66:20, nations will bring the Jewish people back to their land, signaling the gathering of the tribes of Israel essential for the manifestation of New Jerusalem, the eternal dwelling place of God with His people.

The Build of New Jerusalem

New Jerusalem represents the culmination of God’s redemptive plan, described in Revelation 21 as a holy city where God’s presence dwells among His people. The vision of New Jerusalem is not merely a future hope but a present call for believers to embody righteousness, justice, and the preaching of the Gospel.

The four winds of God, mentioned in Revelation 7:1, symbolize the divine forces gathering the elect from the four corners of the earth. The current global climate events reflect the movement of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) as He aligns creation with the will of Elohim, preparing humanity for the new heaven and new earth.

The New Heaven and New Earth

The promise of a new heaven and new earth is central to Scripture’s eschatological vision. As Peter writes, “we look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:13). The upheaval we see today — earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes — signifies the impending transformation of creation, where sin, death, and suffering will cease. This cosmic renewal initiated by Yeshua HaMashiach, the Ancient of Days, is a powerful reminder of the peace and wholeness that will ultimately prevail.

Conclusion

Yeshua HaMashiach, as the Ancient of Days, Healer of the Ages, and Bright and Morning Star, embodies the fullness of God’s plan for redemption and restoration. The current global events serve as both warnings and reminders of His mastery over all elements, calling us to participate in His unfolding plan. Messianic Judaism connects the covenantal promises to Israel with the hope for all nations. As believers in Yeshua, we look forward to His return as King of Kings, anticipating the day when His glory will be fully revealed and all creation will be restored.
